What is PLANTERM?
First of all PLANTERM is the most rational, efficient, cheapest and simple solution able to install the radiant panels in a new as well as in an existing building.
The very easy concepts that are related to the PLANTERM project have provided the opportunity for obtaining a revolutionary, optimised and successful product in comparison with the traditional systems of natural air (radiators) or forced convection (fan-coils).
One of the principal advantages that you can gain from PLANTERM is its unique and world wide patented characteristic:

The SUBMODULARITY

Thanks to it you can literally divide PLANTERM to pieces! If you subdivide the whole panel, included the hydraulic circuit in its base modules, you can get several radiant surfaces, that can have a different dimension from the original one.

It can work in multiples as well as submultiples.
It is a single object that can be cut to obtain any other sizes without having to throw away any scraps.
It can be applied on the wall, on the floor or an the ceiling.
Does not need the hydraulic balance, as it is self-balancing
Has a plant as well as a building function, since it replaces the thermal insulation and the plaster, and inside it there is free room also for the current distributing plants
Allows to save useful room in a new building, as it reduces the external wall thickness, keeping the same heat transfer coefficient (“K” equivalent)
It's easy to apply in a new building, as it does not take a long time and it does not require the presence of the bricklayer to do it



Planning PLANTERM
The PLANTERM planning unlike the traditional heating floor systems does not have field limits concerning the working water temperature; our system can work with a water temperature between 25° C. and 60° C.
This allows to choose between a solution with comfort, power saving and summer cooling or another solution that privileges the initial investment, displacing the traditional radiators with our panels; they are cheaper.
We show here following 4 different examples of planning with wall PLANTERM, the solution that we suggest for the houses.
According to the chosen water temperature the net radiant surface required for the winter thermal loads can change from 10% to 60% of the net floor. Sometimes it can be necessary a higher percentage in order to optimise the summer cooling or in case of heating at a very low temperature.
The examples refer to a room of 16 m² and the calculation has been carried out in accordance with the following formulation:

Examples and references
PLANTERM can be applied in any building, in a new one as well as in any kind of restructured building.
Some examples of PLANTERM plans are: houses, hotels, offices, factories, cellars, restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes, schools, kindergartens, shops, commercial centres, gymnasiums, churches, swimming pools and so on.
